Turf and Sports Field Maintenance

WGS Greenkeepers and Landscapers are proud to care for open parks and playing fields across LGAs. We understand how important it is for these high traffic sporting fields and parks to be in top condition for local teams and sporting competitions and work to maintain turf, grass and synthetic surfaces through mowing, fertilising, drainage, coring and watering or irrigation systems. We love nothing more than seeing these spaces enjoyed by different sports throughout the year.

Landscape Maintenance

Our horticulturists, nursery, and parks and gardens staff work across playgrounds, parks, and community assets to ensure all areas are clean, safe, and maintained to a high standard. Services include regular mowing, garden care, fertilising, seasonal planting, and hard surface cleaning.

Landscape Construction

Our experienced team delivers high-quality landscape construction services across council-managed public spaces. From paving and planting to pergolas, fencing, seating, and water features, we build functional, long-lasting spaces tailored to community use. Whether it’s a playground, public garden, shared path, or open space enhancement, we focus on outcomes that are practical, well-presented, and built to serve the local community for years to come.

Tree Planting & Canopy Programs

We support Council-led tree planting programs as part of long-term urban greening and canopy expansion strategies across Sydney. Our team delivers full-cycle planting services—from species selection and advanced tree installation to establishment support under ongoing contracts. We’re proud to contribute to key initiatives such as Sutherland Shire’s 5,000 Trees Project and Randwick City Council’s Greening Our City program, working to ensure every tree is carefully planted, regularly assessed, watered, and maintained to thrive in the years ahead.

Arboriculture Services

Our Level 5 Arborists assess existing and mature trees across public land and streetscapes for risk and community safety. We provide pruning, dead-wooding, mulching, stump grinding, and safe removal of hazardous or damaged trees using the right equipment for each site.

Vegetation Management and Fire Mitigation

We deliver tailored vegetation management programs, including perimeter clearing, mechanical slashing, and fire mitigation works to protect state assets and surrounding communities.

Weed Control Programs

Our targeted weed management services include boom spraying, spot treatments, and knockdown spraying for fence lines, boundary zones, and open areas. Night spraying using electric UTVs is available for sensitive sites or operational areas.

Irrigation Services

We provide full-service irrigation management, including system installation, audits, repairs, seasonal adjustments, and ongoing maintenance to support plant health and water efficiency.

Cleaning Services

We provide cleaning services for communal or shared areas within local council spaces and facilities including routine site cleans, emergency and responsive cleaning, post incident and high-standard hygiene cleans.
